Hello.
Mon Père translates to “My Father” in French. The core value of this creative business is summed up in its motto, “Let Love Grow”. I lost my father to cancer before I turned two years old and use my creativity as a method of dealing with his loss on a positive level.
Under the umbrella of Mon Père I practice graphic design, street art, and have dabbled a bit with creating handmade custom clothing for kids. I also have big love and appreciation for all animals but especially for dogs and horses. I enjoy taking care of my clients dogs when they travel and provide excellent care, communication and a beautiful home for the dogs to enjoy.
Giving back to those in need is something I practice to feel well and balanced in my life. I was able to donate a significant portion from the handmade capsule collection of kids tee’s that I designed and that made a positive impact on my life. Seeing kids fighting for their lives at the Ronald McDonald House Charity in San Diego, CA was emotionally intense to witness and I felt I had to contribute support to them in some way.
"Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego is grateful to receive proceeds from Mon Père and its generous designer Christina Shrigley. With donations like these we are able to provide comfort, care and compassion to the familites we serve in their time of need. We are also inspired by Christina’s philanthropic approach to her business and greatly appreciate her continued support." Mara Fouts, Director of Major Gifts
I feel blessed in so many ways and take each day as it comes hoping to always feel creative, inspired and live a life with integrity as my foundation.
