Is it a coincidence that dog spelled backwards is god? I think not.
Your dogs will feel relaxed in my care and will go home happy when I take care of them for you. I live in a cheerful home with two small dogs of my own. I have two spacious yards, one with grass and lots of sunshine and the other yard provides more shade. Both yards are dog friendly, secure and there is ample room for your dogs to play and sun bathe in. The interior of the house is very comfortable for the dogs and I have air conditioning as well to keep everyone comfortable on warm days.
I’ve had dogs my entire life and it's a pleasure for me to care for them while their family is away. I send a daily text update with a photo or video of your dog and their comfort is my number one priority. I very much enjoy this work and am always grateful to connect with other animal lovers.
I keep up to 5 dog guests at a time and type of dog that is a great fit for me is 2 years of age or older, spayed or neutered and weighs 40 pounds or less. Dogs that are aggressive in any way that would need to be kept separate from the group are not a good fit for me. Dogs that have high anxiety levels that cause them to bark or whine excessively would not be a good fit either. I’m home all day and evening with the dogs but do leave the house for 3-4 hours in the afternoon 5 days per week. So the dogs are never left inside for longer than 4 hours during the day. While I’m away from home, they enjoy resting indoors comfortably after a fun and active morning and mid day spent outdoors.
Boarding :
$75/night - Includes daily walks, plenty of potty breaks and time in the yard, complimentary midday treats, a daily text update with a photo or video and a relaxing home to sleep in at night
Additional Dogs - $75/night for each additional dog
Taxi Fee - $20 for one drop off or pick up between 8am - 5pm
Early Check In & Late Check Out - A $20 fee will be applied to any pick up’s after 1pm.
Hours of Availability - I’m available from 8am - 7pm daily. Please plan your dogs stay with me around my hours of availability.
* Payment in full is required the day your dog arrives
* During the following holiday periods in 2024 the nightly rate will increase by $10: February 17 - 19, May 25 - May 27, June 30 - July 4, August 30 - September 2, November 28 - December 1, December 22 - January 1
* Cancellation fee - 30% of the full amount due is owed if you cancel in less than 48 hours before your arrival date
Walks & Check In’s :
25 minute walk - $25
45 minute walk - $40
* Serving La Jolla & North Pacific Beach
* Walks are group walks with up to 1-5 dogs per walk. All of the dogs are friendly and typically under 40 pounds
* I send a text when I start the walk and a text with a walk report and photos when I leave
* Add $5 per walk for each additional dog
* Add $10 to walks scheduled outside of 8AM - 5PM

Daycare :
$40/Daycare Visit - Dogs are welcome to come over for the day and enjoy walks in the neighborhood, time in the yard and a relaxing home to visit for the day
